A Night Walk With Lights

Zeke and I on a night walk… I LOVE my headlamp.

I can see where I’m going, walk through grass in pitch dark, walk down the lane without worrying whether a frog or vole or mouse or owl will surprise us and start a chase or a running flee for Zeke…

Makes me consider the concept of “shining a light” on something, or “lighting up the darkness” – And how this headlamp simply lights my way, rather than a Flashlight, where I actually point at something.

It just sits on my head, I forget it’s there, and I sort of follow the light basically only because I follow what I can see…

And then I begin to feel confident because I know if I head in any direction, the light will simply go that way.

It’ll be there. … So we are working together…

I have an intention or an instinct to move in a certain direction, and then the light lights my way…

This is the kind of effortlessness that I think of as feminine energy.

Love, Rori
